The Mindset of Doing: From Garage to Prototype

Silicon Valley thrives on action. Garages aren’t just spaces—they’re symbols of a mindset that prioritizes execution over perfection. This approach rejects waiting for the “right moment” or wasting hours in meetings. I don’t wear a scarf or colored glasses, and we’re not here to create slides. We’re here to make things.

Prototyping, learning from failures, and iterating rapidly are the tools that transform ideas into reality. This mindset isn’t foreign to Italians. The same ingenuity that rebuilt San Francisco after the 1906 earthquake, brick by brick, exists in our DNA. It’s about channeling that heritage into modern challenges, creating tangible solutions—even with limited resources.

The Camp Format: From Vision to Impact

This two-day format combines practical experience with cutting-edge insights. It’s not about listening but applying ideas in real time.

The structure includes:

Silicon Valley Mindsets: Core Messages – The principles behind the Valley’s culture of innovation.

Why It Works (and Doesn’t): Case Studies – Lessons from real successes and failures.

Exclusive Interviews with Valley Gurus – Conversations tailored to the workshop’s focus.

Innovation Models (Actionable in Italy) – Tools for adapting groundbreaking ideas to local contexts.

Organizational Models (Engaging Complexity) – Frameworks to handle challenges in dynamic environments.

The 6D Model – A method I learned at Singularity University to address exponential challenges.

Speculative Design Beats – Techniques from Stanford University futurist training to explore and test visionary scenarios.

Building, Testing, Sharing

I don’t just observe Silicon Valley—I build within it. As a beta tester for emerging technologies—from companion robots to driverless cars—and as a designer of tech products “made in Palo Alto,” I live the doer’s mindset every day. From crafting prototypes to contributing to development cycles, I experience firsthand what it takes to create in this ecosystem.

Over the years, I’ve worked with about 150 startups annually, helping them refine ideas, navigate cultural gaps, and align with Silicon Valley’s pace. My goal is to learn together how to bring that approach to Italian companies, combining our heritage of craftsmanship with the rapid, iterative mindset that defines success here.
