I do not speak about our business projects usually. However, there are moments and situations that allow us to unveil something related to our everyday job. This is the case of the innovation center recently opened by ABB.
I well remember my first day in ABB: nothing was connected and the excitement about the new frontiers were balanced with the fear of making mistakes. Energy management is not a kids’ play and things could going wrong in a unnumbered ways.
After four years, starting from the internal willing of those innovators and -with the little help of my team from Design Group Italia– today almost everything is connected in a meaningful way. …I could not be more proud.
The new innovation center wasn’t designed by us, but is packed with dashboards, innovation in software, hardware designs, all proudly made by DGI.
