2010 | myCast (Collaborative TV for third Millennium)
Italy is a television driven Country and Project’s stackholder are: the main Italian Broadcaster and the solution provider. myCast is the core product of this Solution Provider and they hired me as Senior IxD Designer and Product Strategist. I completely redesigned this product in five weeks, from concept to “omnigraflle” detailed wireframes.

2009 | WideNoise (iPhone / Internet of Things)
WideNoise is an iPhone Application that records sounds and transform it in a “social object” that could be shared on GoogleMaps, Twitter, etc.
I co-conceived this project, found the right team, designed the first UI draft. Sold on APP Store in about 25K copies, it was included by NewYork Times as Top10 Internet of Things Products. www.widetag.com/widenoise

An USB, interactive, Toy packed of sensors, that share information in realtime trough blog’s and Social Networks. A prototype for a Facebook physical UI.

P2P Science! Google Maps Mashup: “This technology enables individuals and corporations to better understand their environment, through the use of a series of GPS-enabled sensors. We provide a set of open APIs and communication protocols to manage the data collected”.

2007 | Decoder Island (SecondLife)
I conceived and co-designed a post-industrial island in SL, with black sand and secret places. We got two prizes and a mention in a book about SecondLife.

2006 | Photoshakr (Web2.0 Mashup)
A brand new way to get pictures from Flickr and re-publish it in customizable and interactive badge (+ buy from Amazon). It was used as scenography for John Maeda’s Talk and other events.

2006 | k-Humans (Artificial Intelligence)
Design an advanced “Virtual Assistant” that recognizes voice commands and has some “intuition” for emotions. I designed detailed and fine behavior for our 3D fully animated web assistants, meanwhile raising my understanding of vocal UI. Theatre inspired me in finding solutions that enhanced the acceptability of K-Humans.

2005 | I-Able (Medical Device)
A real Revolution in quality of life for people with heavy disability, I-Able is a computer that is possible to use just with the eye movements. It allow users to communicate, send email, sms, or simply to watch tv, listening radio, write text, etc. I conceived a brand new interaction technique and designed all UI draft.
I-Able was officially introduced by National Health in Italy since 2008.

2004 | Ics, Intelligent Cropping System (MobileTV)
Process and interfaces for an innovative eye-tracking based video optimization service. This cool and effective Dynamic Cropping was very interesting for one-step video format optimization (3G, Airplanes, handheld, etc).
