Qualche giorno fa, il barbutissimo Bruce Stewart ha presentato il nuovo BLOG della O’reilly dedicato al Futuro della telefonia. In piena sintonia con la ricetta dell’eTech (report dall’ultimo eTech) il nome del blog è Emerging Telephony (eTel).

La O’Reilly ha davvero preso il largo in quel burrascoso mare dell’informazione legata allo sviluppo dell’innovazione, e -stavolta- ha lanciato un coraggioso blog dedicato ad un ambito emergente che -guarda caso- attira anche molti inserzionisti. Buon per loro ma -a leggere la qualità dei primi articoli- anche per noi.

Mentre qui trovate una importante intervista a Norman Lewis.

…ah, ovviamente la strategia editoriale O’Reilly converge anche questa volta in un conferenza (24/26 gennaio 2006!) e -ancora guardacaso- Lewis (France Telecom) è colui che ne terrà il keynote dal titolo:” che si lascia sfuggire qualcosa del Keynote che terrà alla conferenza di Gennaio 2006:”Telco Is Dead–Long Live the Communications Company”.
…ma in questa che sembra la più “commerciale” delle iniziative O’Reilly, Lewis alla fine intende solo dire che:”Some Telcos get it! We are not all evil. We may be perceived as the problem, but in reality, we will be part of the solution“. Suona tanto come una “difesa d’ufficio” che dice che France Telecom è un pò meno “evil” degli altri. Vedremo…
